David Hamilton was born in rural Waukegan, Illinois in the fabulous 50's.
With the volatile political and environmental issues during his early lifetime, he has always instinctively known that there are better ways for humanity to thrive, and more beauty to life than most people realize.
As a self-taught author and artist who has loved to write and draw his entire life, he has started and stopped his writing and art career numerous times throughout his life.
After several years of technical writing as a career, he decided that there would be no better time than the present to take his natural-born creativity seriously.
With completion of his first book, The Earth Change Survival Guide in 1998, he knew that the next step would be a move into a more creative lifestyle. He didn't know that step would take an entire 7 years.
He is a prolific writer and researcher with a flare for making difficult concepts easy to understand. Using this talent and his background as a technical writer, in 2002 he moved to the next creative level by compiling stacks of lab notes into a co-authored book entitled What's Killing You and What To Do About It!
Completion of this step has allowed him to move into other writing endeavors as a full-time career thus helping complete the creative circle. Drawing from his wide range of life experiences and highly varied background, coupled with travel throughout the continental U.S. and parts of Europe, he is creating works of fiction sure to engage the most seasoned reader.
He currently divides his time between technical writing, creative writing, creating colored pencil portraits and other artwork.
He and his wife currently live in Florida near their two daughters.
He is a member of the following professional organizations:
